Paradiski throw a season opening party The Paradiski area of La Plagne and Les Arcs is throwing a party on the 20th December to mark the opening of its ski area. All day, on 20 December, the ski lift operators (SAP and SMA) will be giving away a Paradiski extension, free of charge to anyone holding a ski pass valid on that day for La Plagne or Les Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry. Valid one day, holiday or season passes should be presented at a ticket booth to obtain the extension. The official relaunch of the Vanoise Express lift will also take place on 20 December marking the opening of the Paradiski area for the 2008-9 season. In addition French ski school instructors will be on hand to guide skiers round a special Paradiski circuit so that guests can discover the hot spots. Tours are suited to various levels. And after the sport there will be time for a warming drink, near to the Vanoise Express, with vin chaud and hot chocolate, as well as other local beverages and specialities. Paradiski boasts a ski area between 1,200 m to 3,250 m with 425 km of runs divided in to 236 runs for all categories.
