Les Deux Alpes, the resort

Virtually guaranteed snowcover from October to May, the resort is a snowboarding mecca, hosting the highest snowboarding championship in the world. The village itself has a reputation for lively nightlife and the children’s fun area offers activities including a toboggan run and snowscooter track.

Artificial snow

Every year the resort of 2 Alpes continues to improve its artificial snow coverage. This year the emphasis has been placed on the Vallée Blanche/Pied Moutet sector where all of the pistes served by the Super Venosc, Pied Moutet, Vallée Blanche and the new Cote chair-lifts will benefit from artificial snow.

This will therefore ensure decent skiing on the entire western sector of the ski area and a permanent east/west link throughout the winter.
Artificial snow coverage has also been improved on all of the lower slopes including the beginner pistes, kindergarten, free lifts and the Côte Brune slalom run.
